Summer 2011 Art Classes for Youth

Is your pre-teen or teen ready for some artistic summer activities, now that school is out? Consider developing and furthering their creativity through one of the following classes:

Y1. 7th-12th Grade Introduction to Two-Dimensional Art, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3-5 PM, July 5-28, 2011, $225

Weekly art projects including drawing, painting, and collage will allow your teenager to explore artistic mediums and techniques in this four week introduction to basic design principles and elements.

Y2. 4th-6th Grade Intro to Art, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4-6 PM, August 2-18, $200

Basic drawing, painting, & design terms and techniques will be introduced in this three week class geared to your budding artist.

All classes include a resource notebook and class-time art supplies.
